Welcome to Pianostudio Friedenau
20 years ago I started the Pianostudio Friedenau. My goal is to accompany you on your way with professional advice, exercises that take you further and find the right practice method to achieve effective results. At the beginning we will together set the goals:
- What music do you want to play
- which previous knowledge do you have
- how much practice time and
- how can you reach a better level?
Piano classes
My offer is mainly aimed at teenagers and adults with previous knowledge. Restarters are welcome. I teach children from the age of 8 years. Beginners on request. Classical music, jazz or pop are equally ranked. According to your preferences we will design the piano classes. Proper practice is important. I can show you how to use your time most effectively. If you are into jazz or pop, we'll use the latest apps to make you sound like in the rehearsal studio or on stage.
Music Theory and Eartraining Theory and ear training are integrated into my classes from the beginning but can also be booked separately. You always wanted to know what a Dmaj7 chord is, how a modulation works or how to distinguish a major from a minor third? I will pass on this knowledge to you with fun and competency. Whether you are a beginner, an ambitious singer/songwriter or want to apply for an audition at the conservatory, you will learn the theory background to achieve your goals.
Ensembles & Corepetition In addition to piano lessons I coach small ensembles to rehearse new pieces or add the final polish before a performance.
I also offer Corepetition for singers and instrumentalists who want to rehearse new repertoire or refresh old material. This is both possible in the classical field as well as for Jazz/Pop/Musicals.
